Bistro Byronz Celebrates Sixteen Years

The local, favorite Louisiana Bistro celebrates 16 years of being a real good part of the Baton Rouge community.

For the entire month of March 2022, Bistro Byronz will celebrate our Bon Anniversaire with dining specials, crafted cocktails, charitable giveback nights, and much more.

Our story started many years ago as a simple mom-and-pop sandwich shop on Government Street called Byronz, which we created in the early 80s for our family, friends, and the community. In 2005, we hoped to again create a family neighborhood restaurant. Sixteen years later, through changes and growth, we're still going strong and still on Government street.

Bistro Byronz was born from the simple definition of a true bistro: an unpretentious neighborhood restaurant where friends and families gather day and night to relax, share conversation, and enjoy good food and drink at reasonable prices. Nothing makes us happier than to see our tables full of customers enjoying and appreciating exactly what we set out to create—a place that feels and tastes like home.

Every week, Bistro Byronz will host giveback nights, donating a percentage of the evening's proceeds to selected community organizations and charities. We value being a part of this incredible community and see these nights as a way to support those that have supported us for 16 years.

Bistro Byronz re-introduces our $4.00 Bontemps Hour, Monday through Friday, from 3 PM to 6 PM with $4.00 drink specials including wine, draft beer, cocktails, and appetizers. During March, for our celebration, we are kicking it up a bit mid-week on Wednesdays with an additional Bontemps special. All cocktails from our newly revised cocktail menu will be half off during Bontemps Hour.

We are also hosting live music by local musicians on the patio every Thursday at our Mid City location from 5:30–8:30 PM. It's the perfect way to unwind at the end of a busy workday.
